![]() ![]() I was sad to see these characters spend time apart in this book but I feel that it was for the better of the story as it emphasised how strong their feelings are for each other. The characters are very engaging and relatable and I love the significance of their relationship within the events of the story and how it is perceived by other characters. I’ve always loved the story of the two characters in this book. ![]() I really enjoyed watching the growth of certain characters in this book and it was very satisfying to see some fairly despicable characters become likeable and good people. What I really like about these books is that there is a huge variety of locations and all are creatively set into the story. It added some fairly touching moments which was I wasn’t expecting. This book focused fairly heavy on characters of the story which were previously overlooked and I liked that time was taken to expand these characters and their relevance to the story. Meanwhile, Etta has been orphaned by time and stranded in a foreign time and place crosses paths with some old friends. Wayfarer is the sequel to last year’s Passenger ( Review Here) and it begins with Nicholas trying to make sense of the revelations dropped at the end of the last book whilst journeying to find Etta. “We are, all of us, also wayfarers on a greater journey, this one without end, each of us searching for the answers to the unspoken questions of our hearts.”
